Where's Omegon?

Terminus, buddy.

I think you're just misleading us, and you're Alpharius. Nice try there primarch of the AL.

Terminus means "The End". The Omega Symbolises The End. Terminus says that Omegon is the scheming one through a post that understands the twisted and convolute history. Terminus is Omegon.

When I think of the duplicitous nature and mastery of disguise that both Omegon and Alpharius display regularly, I cannot help but think of the anime Black Lagoon which totally ruined my mind.

If you've seen the anime, you'll remember these two twins and I can totally see Alpharius and Omegon pulling something off similar to them.

Effectively, they both have split personalities mirroring the other...so by killing Alpharius, Alpharius and Omegon lived on in Omegon.  Alpharius could have been Omegon at any point prior due to the same psychological disorder...so, short of killing them both at the same time, Guilliman did not succeed in killing either of them.

I am Alpharius! Er, I mean, I am...Steve. Yes, Steve.

Psst. I know who you are!

Hail Sithis!!!

I'm inclined to believe (but not entirely convinced) that they are twins because they're described in Legion as "One soul in two bodies".  The rumor exists in the FW books especially in the Alpharius entry.

It's possible for the Emperor remove\alter\block memories from his sons (reference Vengeful Spirit) so if He were attempting to hide the existence of Omegon he could have done so.

I vaguely remember a rumour of an incoming split in the alpha legion. Maybe omegon goes loyalist partway through the heresy?

I believe i mentioned this in a FW open day thread from mid last year.

Alan Bligh himself (who is an AL fan and pmayer i might add) said they will have some juicing things happening and clammed up when i mentioned a split. Calmmed up even more when i mentioned differing rules/philosphies.

Swarmlord (the frater with whom I share a thread, rather than the large, gribbly bug) put forward the idea to me that the greatest secret of the Alpha Legion was that there was in fact only one Primarch.  He has yet to provide any evidence other than 'Alpharius/Omegon went quiet after 'the other' was killed by Guilliman, but it does seem to me to be something very fitting with the whole XXth's MO.

I think someone mentioned in one of the open days threads (might well have been Atia) that there may be plans for an AL vs AL campaign...

And @omeg... terminus, really, really like your theory.

I do believe the Seventh Serpent shows perhaps a minor incident in the pit, its opening stages
