Aqui
I don't have as many bitz as EdT, but I tend to use Margarine/butter tubs (stackable). If I have a large project underway, I tend to use one tub specifically for it. Whilst I understand the need to have organisation for bitz (lest it gets out of hand), I do love rummaging through one tub for a bit. Bit like nuts and bolts in a garage, really! Grim Dog Studios
I use one of these for the majority of my bits: http://www.screwfix.com/p/forge-steel-20-compartment-organiser/43827 Was a bit cheaper for me because im staff, however i dont think its a bad price for the size. They also do a smaller one, and a bigger one which im tempted to pick up to store my paints and tools in! Badaab
I've accumulated entirely too many bits and models in my time in the hobby, and have put them into tackle box inserts. I'm a bit... particular when it comes to organizing stuff, so while it might not be practical to have 20+ of these boxes around, I can find pretty much anything I want without digging through a larger box.For the smaller stuff (purity seals, heads, weapons, etc), I've bought some boxbox crystal clear boxes from the Container Store. If you have one of them nearby, have a look- they've got all kinds of interesting things to put stuff in.
