So bolt pistols with chainswords and power swords, bolters with fists and thunder hammers , is that ok?

Yeah, pretty much.  I sometimes add 1 extra bolter to a chainsword guy, but that just comes down to what I feel like.

Im planning on a ten man unit with one TH, one power sword, and two or three melta pistols. With the jump packs the unit will be highly flexible, not horrible overkill, and be able to tango with most units.

Well, it's ok in that it gets you the most shots/attacks.

 

The pistol doesnt give you any more attacks with the fist, so you may as well use a bolter.

 

Using a bolter with a power sword is a waste, as you dont get the bonus attack, so use a pistol. 

 

Normal dudes get bolters or pistols, depending on what you want the squad to be doing.

 

Coming out of a transport, bolters are a good idea so they can shoot stuff to full effect.

 

The bolt pistols grant more attacks in combat.

I over load on bolt guns, just because I shoot a lot more than I expect to,

You can expect to shoot 6 turns, you might get in to CC for three phases.

 

Admitadly, with bp/cs and the charge DC should be killing terminators (or anything else for that matter) before they swing back point for point

Bolters are a great way to make good use of "Relentless". Double tap charge.

Just got to be careful as to not kill too many to gib your charge distance!
