Targetlock
Has anyone done any count-as conversions for centurions? like many people i like the rules, but unsure on the models themselves. just curious at seeing what other people have come up with :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303219-count-as-centurions/ Share on other sites
Kaedes Nex
Cataphractii and other certain terminator models make good chassis for Centurion conversions. Put them on a 50 mm base and mount a lascannon on top of each shoulder. A simple base like a sheet of cork rock will make them slightly higher too. Targetlock
I was considering doing some bulked out terminators, simplest way of doing them i could think of. EdT
I completely agree that the Centurions look a bit silly as is; however, with a quick headswap, relocation of the heavy weapons to the shoulder, and the addition of some of Forgeworld's Iron Hands etched brass, they make quite distinctive Mechanicus Praetorians... BrotherCaptainArkhan
I have a few conversions of the base models in my log in my signature - may be of interest if you run out of ideas. It's a very easy conversion originally pioneered by Dave Taylor. Just need a couple of spare bare Marine shoulderpads and you're good to go. Volt
Puppets of War sells alternative Centurion models, although they're fairly Sci-Fi in appearance compared to 40k's gothic space fantasy. Acebaur
I felt the same way about the centurion models, so I decided they'd be better as two man terminator teams. Here is the conversion work that I've done so far. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/288402-the-jericho-crusade-the-crusade-goes-to-war-batreps/?p=4012645 The grav Cannon bitz are from MaxMini. And the storm bolters are counts as hurricane bolters Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303219-count-as-centurions/#findComment-4106352 Share on other sites
