Any chance of a Chondax/Alaxxes FW book?

They showed a slide of +/- the same thing as you have there at the recent weekender. It still looks to be on track.. if a bit different? I didnt really see it,.

Do you have any idea whether all of the events on the timeline are going to be covered by a FW book? That's my hope

There is speculation, but no confirmed source, that they MIGHT be in Book 6 : 'Shadow Crusade'.

Other than that, there was no information to be had on them, sadly.

Hmm...interesting, how on Earth would they fit into the Shadow Crusade? Shadow Crusade is Ultramarines vs. World Eaters & Word Bearers.

Oh...remember when the Khan says that those White Scars who attempted to sway him to Horus' side would have to atone for their transgression by embarking on dangerous missions (for instance the ambush in Little Horus)? Perhaps that's how the Scars will be worked in...a contingent sent to assist the XIIIth

That's how I get it:

HH I : White

HH II - III : Brown

HH IV : Purple

HH V : Yellow

Unreleased : Red, Blue

Prospero and Davin are also white. Why Prospero?

White = trilogy? devil.gif ... or more likely, left as unknown for release while all of the others are (more or less) scheduled?

I don't know why they don't do an additiont to the LACAL that has the eye of Horus on it and put the other legions with their rules, a special unit of two and then flesh them out fluff wise/new units etc etc when their legion gets covered in a book.... Give us resin heads our fix!!!

Because there are rumours for the other two Legions without a confirmed book yet being shoehorned into Shadow Crusade, so why not throw the Scars in too? Of course if all those rumours came to pass, that leaves the Wolves/Sons dead last. Which would rather grind my gears that every other Legion got fluff/models/rules before the combatants in the first inter Legion conflict of the Heresy. Fortunately I don't expect it to happen, as I'm bitter and jaded enough already sad.png.

They could include an outside conflict in the Shadow Crusade, like Paramar and Phall were post Istvann. There were White Scars fighting against the warmaster alongside Iron Hands.

Yes...in the novel Scars, the WS who try to sway Jaghatai to Horus' side are given the choice of execution or penance (by undertaking dangerous missions). A  few choose execution, I believe more choose penance.

Hibou Khan (the captain who fights alongside Iron Hands) was pro-Horus. Not surprisingly, we see him subsequently on a dangerous mission, separated from the bulk of his legion

On the scars, I'm reckoning that prospero will end up as two books. Book 2 would them be more than likely to feature the scars and a certain other legion...

That would be nice

There was a small-scale civil war aboard the WS flagship...and of course Jaghatai and his retinue duked it out with Mortarion and his on Prospero.

I'm wondering if FW would include Chondax as well. That would mean Orks.

They aren't going to do Orks, they've already said they don't have plans for 30k Xenos.

The timeline is just the actual chronology of what happened, I don't see the need to follow it with the releases. Black Library didn't either.

fire golem: :cuss i had hoped they would have at least one book detailing the xeno species during the GC and the Heresy, cause i very much doubt the xenos just sat on the side-lines Rolling their Thumbs.

Hope they also make a book about tallarn, which could add more detail to the fourth, Seventh and tenth, as well as the imperial army. (Tank regiments, baby! Yeah! )
