angrom
As the Valkyrie is a dedicated transport in Inquisition codex what are the possibilities for grey knight to use it? Can i start the game with a unit of purifiers in it in reserve? Also if some grey knights unit are in it do they also have the NSF benefit to come from reserve turn 1? Grand Master Caloth
No, the reserves on turn one is specifically deep strike. As for loading a gk unit into it, I believe you're good Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303396-inquisition-valkyrie-and-grey-knight/#findComment-3948687 Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
If the Valk has the Deep Strike ability, the NSF would work. It doesn't, so it doesn't. :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303396-inquisition-valkyrie-and-grey-knight/#findComment-3948721 Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
No, even if it had deep strike, it wouldn't work. Rites of Teleportation only benefits units from the NSF Detachment, and you'd be rolling for the Valkyrie not the Purifiers. Gentlemanloser
Nope, you make a single roll for the unit, and whatever transport it's embarked in. As the unit has Rites, you get that on the roll. Bionicman
None, as its weapons suck and its too expensive. I would go pod or raven instead. But if your really want to use it its best use would be with no upgrades (or bolters) and 3 melta accolytes + psyker. Couple it with a comms relay and reroll your nsf deepstriking round one and flyer reserve in round two. Reclusiarch Darius
IG have Vendettas. Why would you ever want Valkyries? We already have plenty of anti-infantry, it's anti-tank we lack.
