bob10182
Still getting used to the new stuff since its been about three years. I have noticed people posting on here with regards to the other supplements. I went on GW's site and saw the Champions of Fenris supplement. Is that the only one available and will it have all the information? Thanks for your help. Lord Blackwood
Champions of Fenris is the Only Supplement for space wolves at the moment. It provides its own Force Org Chart with unique bonuses It is a very good book and is widely used by many on the boards here. I strongly suggest picking it up because it has some nice fluff and cool pictures and its always good to have another way to play yer army Welcome back to the Fang brother ....... We dont talk about my great company Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303426-quick-question-regarding-supplements/#findComment-3949434 Share on other sites
Ironwulf
Champions of Fenris is a decent supplement. Lotsa fluff, a few useful formations and some new bits of wargear. The Companies of Fenris book is a painting guide, with a little bit of fluff (not much). It has some detail on Sven Bloodhowl's GC (The Firehowlers), Harald Deathwolf's GC (the Deathwolves), Egil Iron Wolf's GC (the Ironwolves) , and finally a small amount on Logan Grimnar's Champions of Fenris. None of the info is essential, but there are some cool ideas for some conversions that I will probably duplicate at some point in my own army. There are also the Space Wolves Datacards, but there is a discussion about the Tactical Objectives on the forum already… Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303426-quick-question-regarding-supplements/#findComment-3949466 Share on other sites
bob10182
Is it only offered in a digital version? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303426-quick-question-regarding-supplements/#findComment-3949811 Share on other sites
Leif Bearclaw
Unfortunately for you it seems to be digital only for the US market: http://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Warhammer-40-000?N=102352+4294967202+4294967200&Nu=product.repositoryId&qty=12&sorting=phl&view=table Whereas on the UK site the hard copy's only listed as 'temporarily out of stock': http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Champions-of-Fenris-A-Codex-Space-Wolves-supplement Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303426-quick-question-regarding-supplements/#findComment-3949933 Share on other sites

Vykryl
Does the digital only work with I gimmick devices? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303426-quick-question-regarding-supplements/#findComment-3949974 Share on other sites
Leif Bearclaw
Don't think so, as there's two versions, the iPad one and the ebook one, which should work with any e-reader type device. Vykryl
That's good to know. I thought it was I-pad only and I have no apple devices that handle books, just an old I-pod I found at work that amazingly functioned. May have to download CoF now. Gemini
Does 'Hour of the Wolf' come into play at all? It has 3 formations and brings back Logan's "High King" rules after a fashion. Ulrik_Ironfist
Hour of the Wolf is a Sanctus Reach campaign supplement. While it does boost SW, and can be used on its own, it's not a SW supplement. Feel free to use it, I wouldn't have any problems playing against it. Stoic Raptor
Champions of Fenris is available in print in the USA - I bought mine at my local shop a few months back, and they had several on hand. Ulrik_Ironfist
I also got one in print. I think CoF is out of print (for now) in the US.
