Suppose a WIP is necessary then?  A quick and dirty shot of my work space from earlier this week:

Pictures of the heads are in my blog.  I swear I'm never painting another Neophyte after this batch.  I am hating every second of these tedious models. :dry.:

Vow complete. Here's the pic of my finished models. I also included a pic of my 'new' style compared to what I used to do. I'm very happy that my painting is getting better

About 14 hours put in today.  My hand is going all arthritic on me.  But I should be done by midnight tomorrow (using my time zone as a reference, because I didn't see one specified in the rules :P).  I'm also assuming "Before March 15" means midnight tomorrow, as opposed to finishing on the 15th.

God, these long hiatuses between batches kill my freehanding every time.  My crosses look like they were painted by a googly eyed chimpanzee with shaky paws.  Gonna take me forever just to clean them up.  And my bottle of black paint sorta exploded, so that's fun, too.

Nothing is easy when it comes to Neophytes :dry.:

Well, I'm ending the deadline sometime late in the evening CET tomorrow. Plenty of time?

stop talking dirty and paint!! ;) :o

No.  No, not at all.  I just woke up, but it's 4pm CET.  This is gonna be an all day paint-a-thon for me, again.

Seeing as you never specified a time, I'm sticking with my own 12pm :P

But then again, you also posted that in what would have been today, which would make the deadline Sunday evening CET...

You really have to spell this stuff out in the start, dude. :dry.:

C'mon, FP - Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?   (Here endeth the pep talk...)

Challenge completed!

Thank so much mactire! I would have never tried that had you not challenged me!

Nicely done Dolchiate Remembrancer. Would advise thinning your paint a bit though.

on the banner or generally?

Generally as you get smoother layers. Though I'd say neatness is the best thing to work on first. Definitely thin when freehanding as you'll want the paint to flow nicely and not build up thickly. It's all practice though and you're going in the right direction.
