Olis
Very nice. There's something about his face that I like - maybe there's a certain individuality about it. Hmm.
Brother-Chaplain Kage
The face looks more like how I picture a White Scar in my mind, but awesome work regardless!
Firepower
Neat. Can't see anything wrong at a glance, either. :)

Retributis
The only thing I can't figure out is why the helmet would hang like that - It feels like it should be side on/facing down as it hangs from the back of the helmet and his thigh is pushing past it? Other than that though, it's fantastic. I really like the high contrast lighting you've got going on.
Grimdarkness
Great looking piece the facial hair looks a little odd to me but that's just me.

You could have at least asked my permission before using my likeness. ;) God if that ain't a lie and a half :teehee:
Brother Heinrich
Great work, but his face reminds me more of Lemmy from Motorhead than a member of the most Roman-esque chapter this side of Terra.
MagicMan
I dunno, his face has an angry Spartan vibe to it. Very cool.
Colrouphobic
I had to darken his facial hair somewhat, it was vanishing in the shadows... Firepower- you're welcome :p
Dosjetka
The only thing I can't figure out is why the helmet would hang like that - It feels like it should be side on/facing down as it hangs from the back of the helmet and his thigh is pushing past it? Yep, was wondering the same thing. Otherwise, fantastic job :)
Colrouphobic
The only thing I can't figure out is why the helmet would hang like that - It feels like it should be side on/facing down as it hangs from the back of the helmet and his thigh is pushing past it? Yep, was wondering the same thing. Otherwise, fantastic job Along with the swirl of the mist, this is to imply movement. The helmet moves in his hip as he moves his leg forward. If I would have put the helmet just hanging sideways on his hip, it would imply a very static pose. I was trying to imply that he actually alreay started to move. Nevertheless, it's what you see/like/think that get you there. :) glad you like the rest.
Retributis
Ah I see, it's being swung forward with the hip/leg movement as he steps forward? I think I was just envisiging a different part of the movement cycle :)
Dosjetka
Aaaaah, right. Makes more sense now. But I still think that rotating the helmet slightly more to the left (his right) would reinforce that movement you're trying to represent :) But whatever, it's still a great piece! +Grimdark Prince Adam+
Really great picture! Really gives out the grim character of a space-marine, though I must admit that it is twice as great as it was done with a shiny smooth ultramarine... wait! he's got facial hair! Its a space wolf in disguise! Got ya!
