GhostOfGhosts
I'm planning to have most of my army drop podding in with 5 pods. 3 Pods are dedicated transports for SW, 1 Pod as SW fast attack, 1 Pod SM dedicated transport, Can I have any 3 come down on turn one or do I have to have 2 SW and 1 SM come down. FENRISÚLFUR
You can choose any 3 that you would like to come in first turn. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303680-drop-pod-assault/#findComment-3955643 Share on other sites
Quixus
Exactly. Drop pod assault specifies that half of the drop pods of your army has to come in on turn 1. It is irrelevant which detachment (if any) they belong to. Skallagoose
Great question man, as there has been a lot of confusion as codexes are updated and this edition is still relatively fresh. I had a similar question before someone in my local community told me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303680-drop-pod-assault/#findComment-3956711 Share on other sites
