Alexis Polux in small games or as allies?

So Alexis Polux seems to be a model that I can relate to, in turn with the combination of what little I know about the IF RoW, seems to be everything I wish I could have had with the Death Guard I own - shield walls of breachers with T5.  I'm not up to date with 7th ed or anything beyond rule books 1 and 2 for the Heresy since I'm waiting on other legions, hence why I'm wondering what options I have available and came here asking.

 

...My goal is to acquire a small collection of Imperial Fists with Alexis Polux at their head, using them as either an 'Allied Detachment' or a 'Zone Mortalis' army list.  In terms of how I see this small force, it would be as a small space hulk boarding party or last ditch ground defense give or take the inclusion of any walker or armour.  As an allied detachment, at present they would only have foot slogging DG to accompany them as distrusted allies, but who knows what the BA rules will bring.

 

- My requirements include the use of Alexis Polux with the IF RoW Stone Gauntlet alongside a group of boarding shield wielding marines for that T5.

 

- My restrictions are as always - cost.  Full sized squad, termis and contemptors/deredeos considered, but I'm not an armour lover and hate flyers.

 

Please could you help provide suggestions as to how I can make use of Alexis Polux given the above.  Any and all suggestions welcome, including anything relating to the use of Alexis be it the best retinue for him or his tactics.  Thank you!
