The sword doesn't look to me like it was made for a guard vehicle. More like tau-ish or neo-marinish. Too elegant to be effective. But this is all my taste. i still would recomend a sentinel chainsaw instead of 'hand'

Thanks guys

I dont play I just paint so it's not for game use just because it looks cool :)

The chainsword needs teeth etc so going to build that up after I've finished the mini with it's open hand on. If it looks bad I can then abandon it

Will crack on with the paint this weekend!

He looks great! What more does he need? Bloodstains on his chainsword, to show he's an actual WARRIOR instead of a mere poser?

Thanks Guys

I sprayed my scratch build this weekend and started the task of riveting... I managed to get one side done before I gave up!

Also not happy with the wheel bolts so going to cast some off one of my other tanks and see how they come out

What if.... Guard could use Rhinos?

In my PDF they can and this one got pimped....

Still more to do as I want to make IG style heavy bolter housings on the side but its getting there

Question for the gunner..... do I put him on the bottom step with a monitor in front of him or on a fire step higher up where he can nearly see over the top

A very interesting idea. The rhino, is the spittin image of an M113. Your force might come across as Nam,era vehicle.

Thanks. Once its got sponsons it will look more in line

Im also adding rivets in key places to give it a guard look and feel.

The camo paint job should tie it all in.

If this works Ive got 5 more rhinos!
