I think its worth it. Got mine and am pretty happy with it. Poster is great, one side is all the various Knight Houses/Knights other side is a large format of the book cover.

The Plastified reference cards are also really nice to have around.

...And if you're spending 78 Pounds for the Standard, you could probably afford the 90 pounds for this tongue.png

Edit: Slipcase is great for the 2 Small Books and all four can fit snugly into the Extermination Special Edition Slipcase if you've got that one too.

Alright, Ill buy it GOD! Stop twisting my arm please.

In all seriousness, the Special / Limited ForgeWorld books are miles apart from the similar GW codex releases.

It's only £12 extra (a small percentage increase over the regular edition, rather than the large premium GW charge)

The Slip Case provides some extra protection, and goes well with the Slip Case for 1-3 (or the Heresy Visions re-release). Some people have even put Conquest with Books 1 - 3 in the big Slip Case, and used the Conquest Slip Case for the two smaller Astartes list books.

The additional cards are actually very useful, and not just some sort of gimmick.

The Poster is a bit meh, but it's good quality.

FFor those thinking about buying Book 4, it's a solid investment.

To each their own, but I'd rather spend that 12 pounds on an upgrade head, torso, or shoulder pad set any day of the week. Not a huge fan of putting posters up, and I don't play nearly enough to use those sheets. confused.gif

True, if you don't already have the "I NEED ALL THESE SPECIAL EDITIONS LAST MONTH!" mentality, this probably wont inspire you.

Funnily enough, if this had a variant cover, or some other gimmick ala the GW special editions, I'd probably bite laugh.png (comic collecting habbits die hard). I was actually pretty bummed when they released their special edition and all you really got were extras, not any sort of modified main book. I definitely see the value here for those who want it vs the mark up on GW's special editions though.
