black legion supplement and the hellbrute formations

Anyone had any success with it? Im planning to use it with my csm who are my more casual army.

Also anyone had any success with the hellbrute formations hell cult in particular

I'm surprised no noe has answered this so I'll chime in....

 

in my opinion the Helbrute dataslates are the best that Chaos have to offer. Every one of the 3 are viable. Helcult misses ObSec, but your dudes won't run and I find it works best with a shooty dread, holding up a peon whenever he might get destroyed. 

 

I have also advanced it all as a crazy close combat unit and it did surprisingly well. Having cheap guys who won't run with a CC/shooty dread is nice.

Thanks Prot :) that definately seems like a good idea il be running a bare bones dread + a big unit of shooting cultistd and a small unit of cultists
