Command Squad with Boarding Shields count as Combat Shields?

I was wondering, do you think it would be ok to use boarding shields as combat shields for command squads? I was thinking of taking a breacher squad and the Mk III power weapon set and putting them together to make the other 3/4 members that will go with the mk III commander and standard bearer and eventually Armillus Dynat.

As long as *every* boarding shield in your list is a Combat Shield I don't see any reason why any one would have a problem with them being modeled that way.

I'd have breachers so they'd have boarding shields, but if every shield in the command squad was a combat shield would that be ok or am I stretching it..

I certainly would not object, and I doubt anyone else would either, so long as you clearly indicated what counts as what.

I guess you could attempt to distinguish them by using paint schemes or symbols on the shields - clear ones at that, or modify the shields' shape if you can.  Personally I'd have no issue so long as it/they are clearly distinguishable from the standard boarding shields.
