BassWave
Fluffwise, its not often mentioned but admech do use psykers. In fact there is a psychic titan legion. Ruleswise, no, there are no mechanicus psychic powers. The Magos Dominus have an ability that resembles the old 6th ed psyker mechanic and it enhances the perfomance of legio cybernetica robots, but that's it. The mechanicus don't "need" psychic buffs, as they have very potent rules as is. However having divination powers is always good. Also, invisible castellax would be dirty... Azekellon
I kinda wish AM had neat psychic powers, like a 'Communion with the Machine' kinda thing, where they can inspire "It Will Not Die" from the Machine Spirits, or "Relentless" special rule for a turn or so. Spaz431
To answer the second part of the question to get a psyker in AdMech, you can include 2 inquisitors. BassWave
Except you can't without an opponent's permission. Admech are a 30k army and follow the 30k ally chart, which means you can only ally Legiones Astartes or Solar Auxilia. Now, I understand you already need an opponents permission to play admech in a 40k setting, but considering how potent admech are without 40k ally shenanigans, its likely your opponent will draw the line there. If not, then sure, go for it! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303990-pyschis-powers-for-am/#findComment-3965039 Share on other sites
Reclusiarch Darius
Eh, I think Cybertheurgy does the job fine. Plus, if you're keen on 'IWND', just buy 'Paragon of Metal' on a Thanatar. Watch your opponent weep as they try and kill it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303990-pyschis-powers-for-am/#findComment-3967110 Share on other sites
Battybattybats
I made one, possibly I'll use it as a counts-as Culexus though it's yet to have some tubes added with tentacle maker and cutting the chaos star down into an opus mechanicum so a fair bit yet to do.http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f250/supreme_martian_overlord/DSCF0018-1.jpgMore here:http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293094-knights-of-house-cydonia-and-accompanying-taghmata-omnissiah/page-4?do=findComment&comment=3856612 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303990-pyschis-powers-for-am/#findComment-3971311 Share on other sites
