Downloading pictures to forum

Hi

 

I don't know if this is the right place to ask for help regarding downloading photographs Photobucket to B&C ( if its not please could the mods move it to the correct subforum )

 

Basically I haven't been using Photobucket for a couple of years ( its been that long since I last posted any pics ) and have been trying to download some new pictures for the last couple of hours without success.

 

I followed my old routine ( click on photo in album - enlarge photo and click Links options - IMG goes yellow and says "copied " - then pres ctrl + v - picture is pasted here ).

 

This doesn't seem to work anymore ( no URL appears on B&C ).

 

I tried checking Photobucket , internet and youtube and couldn't find anything that worked ( lots of copy and paste advice but none of it seems to work for me - again no URL appears here on the forum ). 

 

Am I doing something wrong ?

 

Any advice - or links to other tutorials or guides - would be much appreciated .

Are you using ie 11? If yes, that is most likely your issue, the IPBoard software (last I was aware) hasn't been updated to be fully compatible. Just about any other browser should work.

If you're not using ie11, not sure what the issue could be. 

 

EDIT: Just read your post *completely*, at the Photoshop end, keep doing that, at the B&C end, click the little picture frame (below the smiley, to the left) and paste the link into that.

Hit the Reply or Quote button to open the post edit dialog.

 

Up on the tool bar for the post edit tools, the top left icon (looks like a white square with a light colored B ) switches to old school BBCode mode. Click that.

 

Now, to paste you pic, you need to manually enter the image tags.

Use square brackets but the tags are

{IMG}ctrl-V-goes-here{/IMG}

change the {} into []

 

 

Click the top icon again if you want to switch back to formatted version.

Thanks for the replies - much appreciated.

 

Grotsmasha - sadly the picture frame / images route didn't work - PC just hung and screen greyed out.

 

Fibonacci - followed your suggestion and I can post pictures again . Pretty massive picutres granted ( check them out on the Astrum Militarum sub-forum ) but pics none the less.
