Cpt Lazarus
Got the calgar and honor guard set this morning, but i have limited experiencewith paining finecast models. I've heard that they need to be cleaned before hane, and was wondering which solvent would work best. dish soap? simple green? other? edit: i'm sure there's a topic on this somewhere, i couldn't find it. a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated. Cpt Lazarus
Diluted? Soak, or dip and scrub? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304323-working-with-finecast/#findComment-3970144 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
Warm soapy water, like you'd wash dishes in. Leave plenty of time the models to dry, DO NOT speed up drying with a hair dryer, Finecast deforms easily. Hyuzanriu
Diluted? Soak, or dip and scrub? Let them soak for about 10 minutes, hit them with an easy scrub from old toothbrush, and then "rinse" them off in warm water for another 10 minutes then let them air dry. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/Product/PDF/R/resintips2.pdf Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304323-working-with-finecast/#findComment-3970548 Share on other sites
