You could od with probably using a bit of liquid green stuff or forcing that brass etch properly into the banner, but otherwise looks good. That Praetor especially, always loved the look of drawing the sword, even if I never really saw the point of marines having scabbards - I sincerely hope that the White Scars has some form of sabre or Katana version being drawn from a sheath, if anything, imagine the sales on that bad boy.

Yeah I'm slowly working the brass to get it to fold in as sometimes it just pops straight back up and some times the glue beneath has been a little to thick and creates a little bump so need to work at it.

What glue are you using on the brass etch? Try PVA, works really well for me.

I used super glue as I thought since it's a metal and resin the pva or plastic glue wouldn't stick.

If you had a VERY small and fine jewelers mallet or equivalent, you could try ever-so-gently hammering the Brass Etch to fit flush onto the resin pieces you'll be gluing them on.

 

...but, one wrong move and you might shatter the resin...

Yeah heh I was intending to do the Ultramarines but in the end it came down to the fact I want to get Dorn but I don't really want Roboute. I'm also doing a small Alpha Legion force and have a 5 man Headhunter/Veteran Squad converted out of a Recon squad put together, will get some pictures up tomorrow.

Thanks! I'd had it in my mind for a while, was hoping the normal commander could be posed that way but the legs were to stiff, thankfully the Despoiler squad had the perfect walking/running legs.

I know command squads can only have up to 5 members but I figured doing some options would be a good idea.

On a fluff note I'm kind of considering making them one of the successor chapters, perhaps the Excoriators or something, but I'm not sure what I want as the troops for my force yet.

i agree with KBA i didn't buy the mark I I I command simply because i didn't like the drawING sword as much as a drawN sword but with those legs it puts the whole model into motion and really personifies an IF commander preparing to answer his duty and SMITE some traitors (or xenos scum let's not be exclusive)
