Need army list help for Leviathan campaign

A buddy and I are going to be playing the Shield of Baal: Leviathan Campaign and two of the missions involve pitting Sororitas vs Tyranids. I don't have that much familiarity with building a list for Sororitas though, so was looking for help with such.

We were looking at doing 1250 pts of AS for each mission and something more fluffy rather than competitive. In both missions, we'll also have 2 IG Hydras and a Guard Platoon to supplement.

1. The first mission is The Great Corral and is a defensive action by AS within a ruined city. We will be playing with Realm of Battle:Cityscape The AS will be trying to prevent the Tyranids from getting past them to attack the population of Lysios who are holed up in these large Crawler Hulk transports. VPs will basically be Killpoints. Each turn there will be a chance the AS will run out of ammo and have to Snapshot the rest of the game but we don't want to skew the list to melee just to get around that.

2. The second mission is The Wrath of Shelse and is an evacuation by AS on a regular Real of Battle board. There will be 3 population markers that need to exit the AS edge of the board while the Tyranids try to catch them. Tyranid edges will be to both the left and right of the AS edge, so they'll always be able to cut off the pop markers - meaning that AS will have to intercept and tie the Tyranids down to give the pop makers a chance to escape

Thanks for the help!

The Sisterhood are good at TAC lists, so really, you need to identify what you want to do.

The first mission requires you to eliminate enemy units quickly without creating holes in your battle line. We don't have much in the way of 'immobile but powerful' - our best options all involve some level of mobility. The Guard, on the other hand, swing the other way.

For the first mission, I'd suggest using the guard platoon as a backstop, then using mobile Sororitas elements in immolators or repressors to hunt down targets of priority. City fight boards are a godsend to the Sisters, letting them get into heavy flamer range without too much incoming fire whittling them down.

The second mission, I'd suggest dropping the guard for more mobile Sisters and some long-range Exorcist support. How fast to the pop blobs move? Are they tokens or a whole bunch of civilian models?

In the first list Heavy bolter Rets, Exorcists or especially Penitent Engines will be really useful at holding the line. You can send in monster killing Dom squads to target Venomthropes or big monsters too, and crumple the nid line. Priests will really help you to stay in place and not run away.

Second mission Miko's suggestion is a good one. Mobile units with flamers and Exorcists to take out the big bugs will really help, making them a target priority which should divert attention from those civilians :) I really recommend Repentia might be useful as counter-assault for the big bugs.

So maybe like:

Cannoness

Priest + Battle Conclave

2 x Battle Squad

Seraphim

Dom w/Melta

2 x Ret w/H.Flamer

Exorcist

What Special / Heavy should I give the Battle Squads?

How many Bolter models should I pad the Dom and Rets with?

Thanks for the help.

Normally I would say BSS need Flamer/Heavy Flamer when fighting nids in close combat. However you look to have that well covered with the Rets. So you might need some extra punch to help deal with the larger bugs; so I would go with 2 melta guns in each squad.

As far as padding, I would say that depends on the points you have left over. I give my Dominions +1 sister minimum, tho.
