Hrolf the Cunning
Hi folks, long time lurker here. After many years of being inspired by many of you talented individuals, I've decided to start a PLOG of my first forays into the modelling and painting of legion minis. I'm yet to decide on a specific legion so I'm in the process of doing some testers, the first of which are below. C&C would be much appreciated. The iron warrior has had a tad more time spent on it clearly. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304414-hrolfs-wip-thread/ Share on other sites

Hrolf the Cunning
@ AlphariusOmegon108: thanks, The green is gradual thin airbrush coats of Vallejo game colour - sick green. Then a few thinned washes of Vallejo sepia and black wash. Then a slight zenithal highlight with the same green I've made a little more progress on some of the minis. Quite happy with the Raven Guard chaps, still some smoothing of white areas needed as well as metalics. My attempt at the Salamander's shoulder flames, needs to be redone but it gives the general idea of what I'm aiming for. The plan is to work on assembling some more marines over the next while and create some more interesting and character filled minis. Also planning on getting a better photo setup. Any tips, suggestions or criticisms would be much appreciated Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304414-hrolfs-wip-thread/#findComment-3974106 Share on other sites
