Gubnutz Da Grim
I am going to get my Heralds of Despair posted up here. some of them will need new pictures to be taken and some items I do not have pictures of yet. I have been playing Deathguard for quite some time but I have taken some long times away from the game. In fact, I have not played a game in over 2 years. But still enjoy the modeling and painting side of the game. I have never played a game with 7th so I am not even sure that some of this stuff is table legal. Still I love the Heralds and their Daemonic Brothers the Scions of Disease. I will post more as I get them taken and am able. Have several squads in the works, among them another 7 man OOP squad, a PlagueReaper, the third Dread(heelbrute) of the bunch, and 7 bikes. All of them are the 90s era OOP plagure marines. Terminators are from the Forgeworld Conversion packs. The rest is pretty obvious. Took me a long time to collect all of the components needed to field the stuff I have table ready. Comments are welcom. Thanks One of the newer members of the warband. Dark Apostle. Chaeron
Great to see this mate - and can't wait for more Nurgley goodness to come over time. How big is your army now anyway? Gubnutz Da Grim
Thanks. Good to be back to posting some stuff. Counting the Scions it is over 8K with the old numbers. I am not sure about it in the current edition. If I got all of it painted I am guessing it would be around 10K. infyrana
Looking good, you've managed to make the blend of many colours seem a fluid mix of armour colour, blood, flesh, sores ooze, rust, patina etc. Did you choose to leave out the fingernails in the Dread's nurgle gauntlet? It's an interesting take and actually looks pretty good. Papa Nurgle smiles upon you. I liked the idea of it being more able to ooze fluids or shot hornets out. There are hornets in the middle so I envision it being a hive more than nails. Thanks. I have always liked these colors together and they just seem to work for Nurgle. Strazhakov
Love the inclusion of purple into the typical Nurgle green scheme. Looks awesome and unique. Also props for the oldschool Plague Marines. They add alot of charm. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304672-gubnutz-deathguard/#findComment-3978212 Share on other sites

Took a long time to get them all but well worth the effort to me. I also have a lot of the OOP PBs though some are the most recently oop metal ones as well. Gubnutz Da Grim
Thanks for all the love guys. Appreciated it. I have posted some more shots and will have to do another post for more as it was telling me I have posted too many images. I have Oblits left to post, some more of the squads, another Blight Drone, plus all of the Scions of Disease. Not sure if they are able to be psoted here as they are not PA but they are Nurgle Allies. Thanks again.
