tresillian
I just bought a big job lot on eBay which has some rather intriguing parts in it, but I can't for the life of me work out where they are from. Some certainly are from a Baneblade, but I can't work out the others, is there a resource anywhere where I can look at the part lists for models? I'm pretty sure these are tank parts, but they might not be. Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/304841-parts-identification/ Share on other sites

tresillian
That was the next step! I'll post a few later on. Once I've got the boy from school, he can help me lay them out. Jolemai
Sorry, I realise that was a tad condescending. It's easier than trawling through the GW website (which usually has pics of the sprues). ShinyRhino
In future, if you plan to do a lot of blind bitz buying, it's worth your time to head over to Stuff Of Legends and have a look at the old GW catalogs (http://www.solegends.com/citadel/catindex.htm). Especially the 2006/07 catalog that has images of all the old metal bitz components, as well as some of the older sprues. (http://www.solegends.com/citcat2006us/index.htm). tresillian
Thanks guys, I trawled the GW site, but some parts are still evading me, I'm sure they will be blindingly obvious to all ! infyrana
Post a pic and it'll be easy enough for the majority to identify most of the parts. Bits sites and ebay can also help to identify parts if you know where you're needing to start looking. The other place is to google-fu your way through the images to find stuff that way. sockwithaticket
Go to a bits site like bitzbox or letthedicedecide, they sell most GW kits part by part and have photos of each component.
