ScottishDunc Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 What about running the grav pistol. With a 5 man squad you should be able to get within 12" with both infiltrate and scout. Then you have the flex. of a grav pistol and a shotgun or bolter as needed. Urauloth Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 One shot for the price you pay for the pistol is hard to justify, especially considering the likelyhood that the squad will get squished the first time your opponent shoots. Focus on turn one damage, imo. I do like the idea of a scout bike unit with a combi-grav. They're a little more durable, and they can charge on turn 2 if they survive. All the same, Scout re-deployment is excellent for getting it into range, so I'll likely try it again next time.
