Wolf Guard Dan
This weekend I participated in the Adepticon Team Tournament. First time ever in a tournament and it was a blast. Good atmosphere. Good games and learned a lot. Our team ended up tied for 28th place overall out of 106 teams. My team was a diverse group. We had Wolves, Eldar, Dark eldar, and Nurgle. So our theme was the yin yang to justify those 4 factions working together. Here is a link to our display. http://www.feedyournerd.com/uploads/2/4/0/4/24044140/9332196_orig.jpg Wolves front and center. I played 5 pods. 3 10 man grey hunters each with 2 specials. flamer, melta, and plasma squad. And 2 5-man units of wolf guard. One with combi plasma, the other with combi melta. Level 1 rune priest ran with the combi plasma squad with Diviniation. It was a fun list to run. I love not deploying. It is my least favorite part of the game. The highlight of the tournament was playing against a beautifully painted army from Quebec. They won best Theme & Presentation. They were good sports when something terrible happened. I dropped in first turn with a melta squad and toasted Abbadon's land raider. Out comes Abby and his TDA retinue. Next turn they charge me and Abby issues a challenge to my Wolf Guard pack leader. I accept. Abby wipes the squad and the chaos gods reward him with spawn-dom. Next turn I slay the warlord with bolter fire. Another cinematic event was watching a Iron Hands Clan Racoon chapter master die to Slaanesh licking him from the warp storm table. Such a good time but exhausting. I don't want to pick up a warhammer model for months now. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305104-sharing-some-adepticon-experiences/ Share on other sites

Rune Priest Jbickb
Solid showing man, I too love null deployment. It's just so much fun.
