Theredknight
hi, I have got a question, to which im struggling to answer. Planning of doing thousand sons, a little project more for modelling than playing to start. What would you say is the forum/centre of tizca is paved with? Marble slabs?flagstones? Something else? Iv looked through and see different references to it (t sons, prospero burns, and others I won't mention in case) Reason I ask is because im looking at their bases.. And il have to put smashed glass effect over it afterwards of course. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305106-a-question-of-prospero/ Share on other sites
Dono1979
Just use piles of ash to represent the burnt remains of the traitorous witches!!! Or Marble, I think Marble would work well. Slips
Red/Pink Granite or Black Marble for me. Or, alternatively: Granite Colors: http://www.muskogeemarbleandgranite.com/Images/GraniteColorsForSite.jpg Marble: http://www.cec-waterjet.com/images/MarblePalette.jpg I think using these 2 types of stones in colors representing the Various Pskyer Cults within the legion inside the Forum could be cool. Ex: Black for the Corvydae (Precognition) Red for the Pyrae (Pyrokinesis) Green-ish for the Pavoni (Healing) Purple for the Athaneans (mind reading) Blue for the Raptora (Telekinesis) Only real problem would be getting the rock texture down Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305106-a-question-of-prospero/#findComment-3986927 Share on other sites
Marshal Rohr
Pink Granite was pretty common in Persia I think. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305106-a-question-of-prospero/#findComment-3987042 Share on other sites
Theredknight
Hmm plenty to choose from, maybe go with what gels well with the colour or armour etc. I know that on some there are engravings so il have to do those in gold, going to be one tough project! Perhaps sealing with a clear to give it a slightly shiny look and bits of rubble here and there.
