It looks good as a relic fighter for 40k also. Jinx on 2+? Yes please. in 30k it has many competitors as the avenger strike fighter...

By the way it is not so delicate: with the flares it has practically armour 11 on every side.

What do you think about the deep strike ability? Seems quite useless in a normal non apocalypse game imho...

The heresy one does have armour 11 all round :D

One thing that interests me is the name. By adding the word "pattern", it implies that there are either other types of Interceptor or, that there will be other vehicles from Xiphon (whatever that is).

Perhaps the Orgus Flyer will become an Orgus pattern Interceptor?

Doesn't the Eye of Horus stamp mean it's for traitor legions only? That must be a mistake (or not mean the same thing as the icons in the books). It's painted with Ultramarine heraldry, after all.

Nah, it just means those rules are for Heresy games, as opposed to 40k rules.

Has anyone else noticed the text "In a game played using the Age of Darkness Expansion, a Xiphon pattern Interceptor is available for use in a Space Marine Legion Crusade army as a Fast Attack Choice" on the bottom of the page. does this mean anything or just the usual from Forgeworld? This is a change of text from the extra consul rules that we got a few weeks back.
