Krikey
Doesn't the Eye of Horus stamp mean it's for traitor legions only? That must be a mistake (or not mean the same thing as the icons in the books). It's painted with Ultramarine heraldry, after all. ~ K Nah, it just means those rules are for Heresy games, as opposed to 40k rules.None of the other 30K rule PDFs are stamped with the Eye of Horus, however. Skorr, Dreygur, Mhara Gal, navigator ... ~K Edit: formatting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305196-the-xiphon-interceptors-rules-are-out/page/2/#findComment-3989684 Share on other sites
Fire Golem
Well that's all it could mean so must just be a new identification thing. In the catalogues anything that can be used in HH games has the same eye stamp. Krikey
I rather think it doesn't mean anything, considering the usage of the symbol in the books. It's more likely just a mistake. If not, it's a very poor choice. ~K Edit: Then again, I haven't seen a catalogue, so I really can't say you're wrong, can I? Still, poorly chosen. Edit 2: That wasn't meant to sound snippy, if it actually did. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305196-the-xiphon-interceptors-rules-are-out/page/2/#findComment-3989700 Share on other sites

It's the Horus Heresy, it's a fine symbol to show that something is part of the heresy range... Krikey
Because in the books, the symbol specifically means available to traitor legions only. Since it only seems to bother me, it's likely a personal problem on my end -- my OCD tends to become aggravated at such things. ~K Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305196-the-xiphon-interceptors-rules-are-out/page/2/#findComment-3989708 Share on other sites
Ion
Could be there to differentiate it from the 40k rules Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305196-the-xiphon-interceptors-rules-are-out/page/2/#findComment-3989777 Share on other sites

PastelAvenger
I'm not sold on this, it's very expensive and will die in a stiff breeze.I doubt we will see many on the field anyway as they are charging a whopping 80 quid for it, madness! helterskelter
Its all resin bar the see through canopy, it was never gonna be cheap at being 2/3rds longer than a rhino. I thought the point of having superfast fliers is this ability to jink? Plus agile giving +1 to that, so unless you point it at the AA dedicated, the opponent has to hit it first, then hit it enough to force it to fail its save. However as i've said in another thread, this could find its way into terror assault lists, due to its quite brutal anti tank ( 2 tl lc and a 2 shot ap 2 krak missile that can go extra boom when you penetrate? Yes please). Yeah in some games people are probably going to try and shoot it down out of spite to prove a point, but utilised effectively, this flyer definitely has wings Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305196-the-xiphon-interceptors-rules-are-out/page/2/#findComment-3989998 Share on other sites
Leif Bearclaw
Love the model. Finally a Marine flyer than looks something like an actual plane . Plus it's for 40k too . Crunch wise, 2HP is disappointing, especially for 205. Hopefully the finalised rules will recognise this and drop the price to 170 or so. Then it'd be great.
