templargdt
Guys- Thinking about the Skitari vanguard and their radiation in combat rule. Do you think based on the wording it's any unit in a close combat that they are involved in gets -1 Toughness, or just those engaged against the Skitari? Thanks. BassWave
Pg47. "If a unit has one or more models in base contact with an enemy model, then it is locked in combat". Emphasis on enemy. So no, it wouldn't activate on friendlies as you can't get locked in combat with friendly models per the definition. Vel'Cona
I'm sure that's intentional, but it's kind of whacky given that their fluff clearly states that even they succumb to their own radiation in time. How would this be any different for nearby allies? I think this rule would have been cleaner if it specified a range for affected units (3" maybe?) or clearly said that "units from AdMech/Skitarii codex are unaffected" or the like.
