Ad mech has alway been something I liked, primarily because there was no official lists, or exact look on what their units or contraptions looked like. This was my nexus of interest, because that mystery let people come up with wonderful conversions and their own count as lists. Now, it's kinda butchered imho. I ran into a slight 30K/40K snag... 30K, an Iron Father is a Praetor upgrade 40K, an Iron-Father is a Chaplain I planned for the Kurtha Sedd model to be a Chaplain, so I refered to him as a 40K Iron Father. However, as this is intended as a 30K force, he now becomes a second Praetor with the Iron Father upgrade. I tried placing him lower, but it hid too much of the cataphractii armour & the skitarii head. It is a shame it's not very visible in the picture, but there are circuit cables running from the pauldrons into the arms. Hopefully they'll show up better when it is painted.
