Imperial Knightm House Terryn

When the Imperial Knights launched I couldn't really decide what house to paint mine up as, so I decided right from the beginning that I would sell my first one once it was done to give me the chance to paint a different house the second time round. If I liked Terryn, then doing a second one wouldn't be a chore.
 
So painted up and sold within about a month of launch. Was my first big project using an airbrush. Pretty much painted to match the box art, though my blue always ends up that sort of shade as a long time Ultrasmurf player. Doing the checker pattern was a lot of fun.

I Just noticed this lovely guy !! he looks pretty much the same as mine and i'm 100% pleased with mine so yours really looks great indeed...(see what i did there )

The check's really help it to pop! so well done!

Yeah, this is nice.  Love the smooth blues and clean work overall.  Did you freehand the checkered pattern?

I'm glad you guys like it. I'm just starting to build my second one now... (This one wont end up on Ebay). The checks on the shoulder were done with the aid of masking tape. The ones on the knee was done by hand.
