transfixing gaze vs invisibility

hey there.

I tried to do a search on the forum to try and find out how this works but does anyone know how this combat works ?

 

transfixing gaze states Mephiston hits on 2+ if he equals or beats the opponents ld, but invis states the unit can only be hit on 6s? 

 

this hasn't came up with me yet but as my main opponent plays grey knights and guard it is bound to happen soon.

I'd go with Gaze, as it is a codex rule and codex always trumps rulebook.

 

Same way as Khârn always hits on 2+ etc!

IMHO it is pretty obvious.

Mephiston hits the invisible unit on a 6, unless Transfixing Gaze kicks in.

IIRC, The player whos turn it is chooses.
I.E BA turn 2+, Opponent 6+

Here is where you can make use of tourneys sportmanship points (like theSW  freeze thing vs reanimation). Be a jerk and claim that your skill goes your round, gain sportmanship and give your opponent his bonus.

I would say transfixing gaze trumps invisibility.

Codex rules trump brb rules. So meph's power overrides invisibility.
