Deschenus Maximus
Daemon Princes are T5, so the Libby Dread's S10 already causes Instant Death without having to rely on Force.Well, Nurgly Daemon Princes are T6, but honestly I thought all of them were at least T6. Are you sure? Because CSM Nurgle DP are T5 just like the other ones. Which is silling because Nurgle makes everything else in the CSM codex +1T. :/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305471-blood-angels-librarian-dreadnought/page/3/#findComment-4001531 Share on other sites
RedemptionNL
No, Daemon of Nurgle only gives Shrouded, Slow and Purposeful and Hatred (Tzeentch), not +1 Toughness. You're probably confused with the Mark of Nurgle, which Daemon Princes cannot get. Edit: doh, missed a page of responses. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305471-blood-angels-librarian-dreadnought/page/3/#findComment-4001537 Share on other sites

Red-beard
Ran the Libby dread as my warlord in a tournament this weekend, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well he did. I'll definitely be putting him in more lists. TheSauce
I think that the bonus of Force will be less useful that S10 in most cases (nurgle CSM lords on bikes and nurgle spawn are some T6 guys where you need force), but the real bonus for me comes from Quickening. Throwing out up to 6 attacks at up to I8 will really kill a lot before the dread can take any hits back. Throw in fleet and it's the go-to power for a CC dread. shandwen
I had a lot of fun throwing one at a series of c:csm squads. (Only my opponents sergeants had weapons to hurt av 13, and they had to challenge a str 10 ap 2 dread) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305471-blood-angels-librarian-dreadnought/page/3/#findComment-4031851 Share on other sites
