Carlson793
Been a while since I've touched my Dremel, but as I remember: loosen the screw in the mandrel, slide the sanding drum down over it, tighten the screw to tighten the drum. The screw compresses the rubber shaft, forcing it to press into the sides of the sanding drum. AJB2K3
Been a while since I've touched my Dremel, but as I remember: loosen the screw in the mandrel, slide the sanding drum down over it, I am unable to get the sanding drum to slide down. I have even taken the rubber section off and tried! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305635-dremel-sanding-drum/#findComment-3999096 Share on other sites
JGeils81
do you have the correct sizes? never remember it being that much of an issue with mine, I also have the kind you loosen the screw in the middle. I dont use sanding drums on plastic though(if thats what youre trying to do)too aggressive and gums up easily. The speedclick version has a softer rubber and works first time.
