arkagl
A friend of mine asked me this. Can you take Cypher in a Slaughtercult formation army? Also what about Belakor? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305688-cypher-in-daemonkin/ Share on other sites
Cheex
By RAW, no. Art least, not as part of a Daemonkin detachment/formation. As always, feel free to check with your gaming group about whether they'd feel comfortable allowing it, though. Scribe
No and no, not in the slaughtercult formation. Can you ally them in? Sure. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305688-cypher-in-daemonkin/#findComment-3999794 Share on other sites
Xenith
To expound: Cypher and Be'Lakor are dataslates to be used with Codex Chaos Space Marines and Codex Chaos Daemons (among the other ones for Cypher...). As such, they can only be taken in a force made from those two codexes. These however, are battlebrothers with Daemonkin, so you can take Cypher and 1 unit of cultists from C:CSM as an allied detachment if you like (I think he is HQ?) Lucio
Cypher can easily be included providing you take the "Fallen Champions" formation, it's added onto the army as it's own formation, as a Battle Brother ally (and also lets you pick up some units of Chosen)Be'Lakor would need to be taken as a HQ slot for either a Codex: CSM or Codex: Daemons detachment, though an Allied Detachment is easier to include. You could use this to pick up units not normally available for a Daemonkin force Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305688-cypher-in-daemonkin/#findComment-4002218 Share on other sites
