Prot
I'm just wondering if this means anything.... I can't remember how old the codex is, but I was wondering about some things I noticed... First off at my local GW store I was looking at the GK Nemesis Vanguard box and a week later I it was gone... I asked the manager he said head office asked him to ship it back to the warehouse... I was just online looking at the store and noted some squads like purifiers, purgation squad, strike squad were all sold out and there's no option for an email when it's restocked. Reclusiarch Darius
Eh, it happens. I wouldn't read much into it. Also, they condensed our units down into two infantry boxes, remember? You're supposed to be buying the Strike Squad box for PA, and the Terminator box for TDA. Zembar
The recent strike forces have been time limited, actually, so you'd best get the discount while you can. Other than that, everything's available in the EU store except Draigo, and he has the "email me" button on him. Exception being the Brotherhood Champion, which hasn't been in stock in the EU store for months. Not that anyone really cares/notices. Spiffrawr
I noticed this in the US webstore this morning, found it alarming. I haven't read or heard any rumors about GK repackaging / re-issuing of sets, curious as to what this means (if anything). Glad I have x2 sets still in plastic at home just in case. If havn't picked up the NSF set yet, might be time to do so if ever want it before it skyrockets on ebay. jeffersonian000
GW runs model sets in batches, builds an overstock of those sets, then switches molds out for different sets, runs those sets until they have an overstock, then switches to other molds, sets, batches, etc.. The recent Skitarii models probably went into production last year, while the GK overstock depleted. Chances are good that GW has already switched back to GK molds to replenish stock. And life goes on. SJ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305731-changes-in-grey-knights-listings/#findComment-4000573 Share on other sites
Prot
If I knew for sure I was going to be sticking out the GK for the next while I would buy the Nemesis set because of the bundle saving, plus it is disappearing.... and everytime I see this happen, the box sets usually shrink and the price goes up... I can see that I can still buy the Nemesis on the Canadian website, but again, the store was requested to send theirs back. Not sure if I should do it... especially with DA rumours.
