Wintermits
In the codex it states "A unit can only attempt to use Act of Faith if it entirely comprised of models with either the Act of Faith or War hymns rule" Does this allow priests to use war hymns in sister of battle squads? Or if you have a priest with Death Cult Assassins, are you able to use their hymn on the whole unit? And finally, If I have two priests in a squad are they able to both use a war hymn? Naminé
An act of faith can be used provided there are no models in the unit that do not have either the act of faith or War Hymns special rule. In other words, if you took an allied Space Marine Librarian and put him in a unit of Battle Sisters, they would not be able to use their act of faith whilst he was present. However, to my knowledge this would work if you where to do the same thing with allied Inquisition or Astra Militarum priests, since they have the War Hymns rule. War Hymns can be used regardless of who has what rules, and apply to the Priest and whatever unit he is in. They can make one War Hymns test each per phase, so if you have multiple Priests in a unit then you can test for multiple war hymns, provided each one only tests a maximum of once. Finally, it is important to remember that in 7th edition War Hymns are taken on the priest's own leadership value (7), except in special circumstances (such as when the martyrdom rule is in effect).
