IamDaEmperor
So I have been wanting to make custom decals for a while now and I am finally doing it. However I do not know what type of sealer to get. So my question is, what brand or make of sealer do you recommend? and could you please post links. I personally have seen Plasti-Kote are they any good? from the questions on the amazon page at least 2 people have used it for decals and the often purchased together includes decal paper and micro set. Thank you. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/305857-acrylic-sealer/ Share on other sites
Carlson793
Depends. If you're using a laser printer (using appropriate decal paper), sealing doesn't seem to be an issue - no ink to bleed from water exposure. Carlson793
Well, if you check the old BoLS tutorial (step 3), they are using a Krylon clear acrylic, but they aren't brand loyal there. Stoic Raptor
Testors sells a spray-on sealer for this purpose. You should be able to find it in most hobby stores that carry Testors products.
