Himlur Posted April 11, 2015 Share Posted April 11, 2015 Played my first game with some rangers today against tau. I'll say it awesome totally shooting the hell out of tau. First turn shoot and killed 6 fires warriors in one volly. The doctrines giving plus bs, making me hit on 2s. And the s4 ap4 went right through then like butter. Second turn shot 2 rapid fire arc rifles and at the tank with 13 front can't remember the name. Any way got one glance and a pen, with the haywire rolls. Finishing it off after my Liberian had blood lanced it for one hull point before hand. 3 turn shoot and kill 5 path finders. More like paper. Same as the fire warriors. Good stuff pretty fun I'm really liking the skitari so far. A lot of fun! In my simple mind, I'm thinking a 2:1 ratio of Vanguard to Rangers would work out okay. I like the long range guns on the Rangers and having them sit back in my DZ to snipe stuff. I like the Arc Rifle and Plasma Caliver for close in work.
