Emperor's Furor
I can't decide on what would be the most helpful weapon to equip an Onager with to assist a Knight. At first I was going to go with the eradication beamer as it can get close under the cover of the knight, but then figured that's not really helping the knight. Then I thought since my knight has a Battle cannon, then perhaps reducing cover save with the heavy phospex blaster would be good as well as the reroll to charge to help that knight smack some units up with it's D weapon. Then I thought if a big thing like another knight, or a heavy tank or creature is placed in front of it, then the neutron laser is a must. So I'm torn, what do you think? Should I just go with one of each, perhaps one neutron, one phospex and perhaps one skyfiring one just in case or should I focus my weaponry and stick to one weapon? CommodusXIII
Knights are sorely lacking against flyers, so if I had to pick one Onager loadout it would have an Icarus array. Father Mehman
I would go with one armed with an Icarus Array and another armed with the Twin-linked Phosphor Cannon. That should handle flyers and also let you re-roll charge range. Brother Amarel
I'm coming to the conclusion that there simply is no bad set-up for an Onager; they really are a tank for every season. But either the Phospher or the Icarus, depending on whether you want to help it kill more or protect it better, seem to stand out in this scenario. Battybattybats
I too concur on the Icarus. So far the main threats against my knight has been vector-striking flyers, dark angel skimmers and deathwing knights. The first two are things the Icarus can handle. so i'll be inclined to make at least 1 icarus Onager myself.
