For meant to be an or, Damn auto correct on my phone. I play BA, believe me I know what FC does, no need to laugh at me :)

If they don't have unwieldy weapons they won't stand a chance against the Wardens, as they'll still get the 2+.

I agree though, apples and oranges - mainly just saying that we can halt some Justy terms in thier tracks if needed :D

No worse than the other Legion-specific Terminators, their specialty just lies in defense.

With options like Predators, Land Raiders, the Leviathan and Deredeo Dreadnoughts, Sicarans, Heavy Support Squads, and now SQUADRONS of Vindicators... they're definitely the worst option. Not even power wise, but versatility. There's much less competition in the Elites slot.

Already have plans for 10 Grave Wardens in a Caestus Assault Ram.  Takes 2 heavy slots, but having 10 Grave Wardens dropping in the back field and smashing those hated quad launcher rapier teams, then claiming some back field objectives, and just running amok sounds fun.

I think the grave wardens boost is nice, giving them some extra killing power, but the main issue with them is the same, how do you get them to a good spot on the field.  It costs a lot of points with land raider, kharybdis, caestus, or spartan.  Going loyalist DG might be a good way to have them infiltrating and maybe toss in a psyker with them for some extra boosts.

I was about to say "but Grave Wardens can't claim backfield objectives, they're missing Implacable Advance." Then I glanced in the new red book to make sure and noticed they have another stealth buff: they do now have Implacable Advance. Well then.

I'm pretty excited, as Implacable Advance is what they really needed to force people to make that choice to assault. For armies based around assault they are now just extremely obnoxious, and they're now a great choice to march around with Typhon and his own dickish denial ability.

Still, competing for a Heavy Support slot isn't great. But it's a step in the right direction.

Typhon plus a minimum squad of Grave Wardens is unfortunately too large for a Dreadclaw, but a Kharybdis or Caestus would work. I was thinking a Spartan, personally. You'd get the Grave Wardens and also a tough as nails tank that also has quad LasCannons to help with penetrating armour. The unfortunate part is the cost coupled with more limited mobility compared to a flying transport.

There's always the Stormbird, haha

Or you could just plod them at whatever offends you, as I imagine we're all still running The Reaping and getting MTC because the new RoW is situational at best.

Although at least they could save a heavy support slot with the option for Spartans as dedicated.

After the updates, I've got the fever that only more terminators can cure!

For the last few days I've been trying to figure out a good way to utilize the new awesomeness of Death Guard terminators. I've been thinking of a pride of the legion list, but haven't been able to come up with anything yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are the buffs DG terminators got good enough to build a fluffy competitive list around? I'd appreciate any thoughts on this.

I'd love to be able to field a horde of scary deathy terminators!
