Alternate Treads for a Spartan Assault Tank?

So, I'm going to be turning my tax return into a Spartan Assault Tank to go with my 40k Word Bearers, and since Spartans are still much more common in 30k then 40k, i thought i'd get better results posting this question here.  I have heard that a Spartan is pretty easy to assemble...until you get to the tracks, then its a bloody nightmare.  I'm also not really too keen on the aesthetics of the current treads (you could say i HATE them), so i'd really like to use different treads.   I could swear I've seen some before, I just can't remember where.  Anyone know of any viable alternates that look nice and chaos-y?

Do any of the Blood and Skulls Industries treads fit the Spartan?

I know this pic has them, but its also a custom Spartan made from a Land Raider, so i'm still unsure whether these would fit the real thing.

I could also swear i once saw a Spartan with 1/35 scale treads from an older Soviet tank model...but i can't find or remember where.

If you don't know of any good alternative tracks, could someone who already owns a Spartan please tell me how wide the treads are?

Any help would be wonderful guys, thanks.

I think I can help. I plan on making a Spartan using those exact treads because every tank in my army uses them. Those are, indeed, too large. I don't own a spartan, but those are sized for a baneblade. Unless Spartan's use baneblade sized treads you need the size down:

Buy these:

Do NOT buy these (unless you need baneblade tracks):

A few notes. The guy recently recast all his treads. On one hand, its really nice because the molds are much much cleaner. You won't need to spend an hour cleaning them. The downside is that they have less detail than the older resin ones. I'm pretty disappointed with how his new rhino/chimera sized tracks compare to the old ones. The detail on the larger ones is better, however, and unless you have the old ones nobody will notice the difference.

Last, the threads will make any tank a little busy due to the extra detail they add. If you put these on a spartan I recommend you cover up some parts of the tracks to both save money on bits and break up the track shape. Something like what this guy did:

Hope this helps!

I used Blood & Skulls Industry's Liberator Pattern 0 Treads for my Proteus Landraider.

They are almost identical to the original tracks, but require a bit of extra work to fit them properly.

I bought seven sets of the tracks, which gave me more than enough tracks to cover 2 Landraiders. I'd say buy 4-5 sets to guarantee you have enough for a Spartan.

I am personally a big fan of those tracks and definitely considering using them, but for the valid points made above about it looking too tacky... i might need to improvise on how to cover some of it up as well when I get to it.

I personally love his older version tracks very much, surprised they are not available alongside these ones as well (the ones that have both barbs and skulls on them i think)

Not the best shot, I will try and find some other, these are Type 0 tread on the Spartan and Typhon:

Here we go:

somehow i still feel like they need to be covered partially. Otherwise it sticks out a bit too much imho

and those look like the most recent work of his, i spoke to him on FB a few weeks back and he said that these are still gonna be around for a long time, as many people are buying them.
