I love that Belial. Specifically, because it is so over-the-top. The campiness is so early 40k brought to our current "proportions" it's great.

A1 model

To the Land Raider: I like how clean it looks and the light effects, what I feel might be improved though is the depth of some of the recessed parts.

Been a while. Anyway here are my deathwing knights! they have been in the making for quite some time now. But i am happy with the end results, these are easily my favourite warhammer 40k models! DEM SHIELDZ THO! (i really like the shields!)

So i've decided that i'm going to have some greenwing with my deathwing so i got myself 10 tacticals and it turns out they are quite fun to paint. here is one of the sergeants the rest is still wip but i'm happy with the green i managed to get(it's the small things in life=)).

So tac squad pics coming up today i'm really happy to have them finished and it was a nice change to painting bone! and also later on i'm going down to the hobby store to hopefully pick up the new interrogator chappy! Also i'm ordering magnets and bits so i can get to work on some veterans later on down thye road. Pretty good day =)

Here are the tacticals i promised earlier (special weapon arms are all magnetised but i think these ones look cool).

squad 1:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, no, sadly. For every five marines you may pick a Special Weapon. If the Squad numbers ten marines you may pick a Special Weapon and a Heavy Weapon.

If you have a Combat Squad (5 Marines), you may pick one Special Weapon. Two Combat Squads cannot be joined together to make a Tactical Squad, although a Tactical Squad may choose to use the Combat Squad rule and split into two groups of 5 Marines.

I can see how it could be confusing but I hope that helps sort it out.

oh wait, so take squad 1, a flamer is a "special" weapon available when you have 5 marines right?  and then the sergeant gets acces to shooting or melee weapons ? (plasma pistol chainsword) wich means i only actually have 1 special weapon for 5 marines because a plasma pistol isn't a "special" weapon? or am i completely wrong?

So Squad 1 (5 Marines) has a Flamer for its Special Weapon. The Sergeant in Squad 1 can take any Melee and/or Ranged Weapon. That's it for Squad 1.

Say Squad 2 (5 Marines) wants to take a Heavy Weapon instead of a Special Weapon. They choose a Heavy Bolter. Now, the Sergeant of Squad 2 can take any Melee and/or Ranged Weapon but the squad can no longer take a Special Weapon because they've chosen a Heavy Weapon instead.

Squad 3 (10 Marines) can take both a Special Weapon and a Heavy Weapon while their Sergeant can take any Melee and/or Ranged Weapon. They can't take two Special Weapons or two Heavy Weapons; they must take either one Heavy Weapon or no Heavy Weapon, and/or take one Special Weapon or no Special Weapon.

All in all, you are correct in your thought now. The Sergeant can always take any Melee and/or Ranged Weapon. You're getting it thumbsup.gif!
