Noctus Cornix
Now, forgive me, but I find this entire little matter to be completely ridiculous so I find myself in need to write a thread about it. Recently I got my Legion Crusade Army List and the Legion Istvaan Campaign Legion books. Now, towards the end of the Crusade Army List book, there's a page for Thallax and Castellax as optional Heavy Supports that you can use with the cortex controller. However, flipping through every inch of this book, I have come to find that 90% of their weapon option and rules aren't even in the book? Lightning Gun is in their for the Thallax and a few of the more main stream weapons they can get, but basically nothing else. Why would you put the options for units in a book when you don't provide the proper rules for them? I just find this to be completely baffling. Its like IA 13 all over again. Daemon2027
It is fairly :cuss. I don't know why they didn't just include the Mechanicum lists in one of the books. Scribe
I made sure to check on that very thing before ordering, and ended up not because of it! ThatOneMarshal
Yeah I found that out when I was ordering mine.... Truth be told I don't care much because I was planning on getting book 2 anyways for night lords fluff and it has legio cybernetica for me. Still a bummer though. I think the reason forgeworld did that so to make you but those nice, expensive leather books. I'm okay with buying them because I'm a fluff but and hey it's got fluff. Hesh Kadesh
That suggests FW put actual thought into the Red Books as opposed to "ooh money grab, and lets put in stealth errata to make it so that the Book 1-3 buyers people have to get it for the updated rules".
