Personal Heraldry for Marines

Recommended Posts

Well here are some examples for you brother:

These grey knight heraldic patterns are a good example, you can alternate the colours and add some new symbols (wings for DA, blood/chalices for BA, Ultima symbol for UM, fists for IF, lightning bolts for WS, etc.).

Here are some cool RT era examples:

Me personally I prefer to add heraldry to my veterans and officers, as a sign of rank. I would leave the average-joe marines without heraldry.

Thanks GrandMagnus. I'm adding them to all the Marines, as the fluff behind them is that they are similar to the Deathwatch. They are made up of many different chapters working for the Inquisition.

As these marines will never return to their original chapters, they are allowed each to wear personal heraldry as a reward and a record of their sacrifice.

Most will be very simple, Vet's, Sergeants, and such will have more elaborate heraldry.
