DarkAngeal
I'm looking for how to model the special weapons that come with our veteran squads. They don't have an attached hand, so it seems like they would go well on a back, or holstered somehow. Does anyone have some examples of how they have used them? GreyCrow
I don't have the pictures at hand, but I usually model them clamped on the butt between the Pack and the rear end armour plate. Like if there was a maglock there. I know some people like to glue them by the leg and make a greenstuff leather band around the shoulder. Greenz
I'll be posting some pics in the next few days of my first tactical squad. My sergeant has his clamped across the lower portion of his pack, one marine has it clamped on his thigh, and my missile launcher marine I made a kind of rack on his pack, so it's vertical up his pack. It'll make more sense when the pics are up. Personally I think a holster would be far too large for a bolter, especially if you consider draw time, and slings would get caught on shoulder pads, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306593-backslung-holstered-weapons/#findComment-4018579 Share on other sites
