Hi everybody!

A few months ago, after a few years messing with some 40k Blood Angels, I had this crazy idea of starting another marine army with only one rule in mind.. It had to be the complete opposite of my BA army...

Since I've been watching the Age of Darkness Forum for a while, I decided it was about time for me to join and share with you guys my progress on the path of Heresy..

Part one; Filing resin and glueing stuff

I have been spending most of my last few weeks hobby time choosing, buying and building the core of my army.. Starting with..

A contemptor dreadnought with twin plasma blaster claws.. Probably not the best or cost effective choice, but I really like the look of it! I also have a TL lascannon arm for it and will probably buy some more options in the future

Here is the first of two 10 man veterans squad I plan on running for my army..

Since I plan on using maloghurst in lower points game and the Pride of Legion RoW in bigger ones, those I be my troops choices most of the time. I plan on running both squads with 2 missile launchers in rhinos..

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the comments!

I still have a lot of building to do and haven't yet figured out the exact color scheme of my army, but I'm going for a dark green and black as I want my force to depict the dark and menacing look of a heavy Chtonian influenced warband! I also plan on basing all my army on 32mm Secret Weapon's Urban Rubble bases once I finish painting my infantry..

For the moment, here are my duo of sicarans I plan on fielding in most game... I've decided to field a venator as I expect to face a lot of heavy armour frequently.. Still working on a solution to fill the sponson holes on the venator.

Also, this is a the start of a 10 man reavers squad that will be painted as catulan reavers. Still have to decide if I go all out assault or if I include some shooty elements to the squad before I build the last guys...

More to come really soon!

Best Contemptor pose, ever. So dynamic, and engaging.

Very cool, man!

Thank you guys for the good words! Pushes me to build more stuff before I run out of content to show off! Don't worry painting will follow soon enough..

In the meantime, here's my first five terminators I've built.. Pretty mixed loadout but I plan on building a few more including 4 combi-weapon of some sort and another chain fist to deepstrike with abbadon or Horus.. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to paint them as justaerin or regular legion terminators..

Cheers!

My three heavy support choice for now.. I Initially bought the fire raptor for my 40k Blood Angels army a few weeks before I became a 30k heretic.. I still have to finish magnetize the turrets weapons..

I really love the pose. Can't wait to see it in Sons of Horis green.

Though the pose will not work in Thousand Sons red and gold. :)

Thank you guys!

I'm really happy with how the contemptor turned out since I had a hard time posing it to look natural. Also looks great with the Lascannon arm.. Expect this one to be painted really soon!

I also have a really early WIP teaser of my first paint test models... Started Horus a few months ago and figured it was wise to wait and practice my color scheme before finishing him.. The green on the reavers looks ok to me but I still have to see the results on a completely green marine.. Still a lot of work to do on the black armour parts to make them less black!
