Hello everybody ! So i try to follow your advices and now it looks like this ;)

20150501 132112

On the shoulder, i use a mark for the squad (a line for squad 1) and for the other a mark for my regiment (a lightning because my regiment's name is "The thunderers") ;)

It's not lightning, although I see the resemblance. It's an ancient rune for the sun that some idiot nazi re-imagined as a rune for victory...then later another idiot nazi noted that it resembles an "s", and created the logo to represent SchutzStaffel, with an additional meaning of "victory! victory!" Someone told me they even went so far as to add a key to their typewriters to be able to type the rune instead of settling for a boring old "s". blink.png

Sorry if this is a bit late, but I'll just throw these ideas out there...

Painting: Remember that most gaming tables can be very realistic in the greens and browns so anyway to make the models "pop" would be helpful. Even if you're adding another highlight to the jacket or making the base a lighter colour tan.

Modeling: Having models look down their barrels look cool and it looks like you've already started.
