Fahlnor
Brothers, How do you cope with the not-red elements of your army and what kind of colour scheme would you consider to tie an allied force into your Blood Angels? The three main units I'm thinking about are Scouts, Baneblade variants and Imperial Knights. How would you paint these models? What other models do you not paint in the regular red? Dolchiate Remembrancer
Personnally I like complimentary colors for allied factions. Allows them to stand out on there own and still "fit" with the army itself. The complementary color to red is green, so when it came to painting my knight...being a fan of the football(soccer) club Sporting Lisbon might have had something to do with it ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306985-painting-not-red/#findComment-4027487 Share on other sites
Lostiris
I did Aurora Marines as an a allied force for my Blood Angels as the green really compliments the red when lined up on the table.
