BattleBrotherJohn
I don't know if this is the best place to ask but I am wondering what the quality of the GW Imperial / Crimson Fist upgrade packs are these days - good , bad, hit or miss ? I know Forge World do all sorts of Fist shoulder pads but ideally I would like a shoulder pad that matches the plastic model range as much as possible. Peredyne
Personally, I would go with the Forge World Imperial Fist MkIV Shoulderpads for the rank and file and the MkIII for the Sergeants and Officers/Specialists. I can't quote for the quality of the GW pieces of late. I have used the GW Flesh Tearers shoulderpads and they were ok, but they felt like the finecast material. jimbo13
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET THE GW FISTS UPGRADE STUFF....... The quality pales in comparison to the fw pieces. I found many of the shoulder pads were poorly cast as well as the back packs and heads. Extremely disappointed. All my fw IF stuff has been top notch and well worth the price. BattleBrotherJohn
Thanks jimbo13 . I have decided to go with the FW Mk IV Imperierl Fist pads - they seem to be closest to what I was looking for.
